This one came from OSSA race engine builder Bob Bennett. Bob sponsored a Phantom rider for years. I watched him practice at the Onion Farm, boy could he make that thing go! Impressive. It’s in nice enough shape not to require a full restoration. I was able to find original rear shocks. Installed a Hoss tank and some other parts plus some clean-up. We freshened up the top end – runs strong! Crank bearings are a little noisy and the transmission does not shift as well as it should – I will attack that this winter! These “late” model Supers with increased suspension and Desert Phantom porting do not come along every day. I’m glad to have one!
