Chris Hoffmeister rode this Montesa to an MAVT championship several years ago. He had it for sale at an R&T trial in Shepherdstown, so we made a deal. The engine was solid, but the chassis was ready for an overhaul. Chris gave me the original lighting kit and Bill Keehn helped me with original alloy handlebars, 1” mounts with 7/8 reduction at the controls. Hank McCurdy sold me a nice pair of Telesco “Air Bag” shocks. She’s looking pretty good now – beautiful machine!
